The human, humane and humanist aspects of NATORZ

No matter how successful we are economically with the NATORZ economic model, we will only take care of our physical needs as humans. After we have achieved the ideal of ‘work to live,’ how many of us really know exactly what we are living for?  NATORZ inspires us to build a human, humane and humanist society for the collective well-being of our body, mind and soul for the human race while taking our proper place in the natural equilibrium of Planet Earth to sustain the continuous life force for all her inhabitants.

The Earth provides us with what we need for our bodies.  However, satisfying physical needs is no longer enough to sustain us.  Humans have evolved beyond that stage.  We need consistent and regular mental stimulation and spiritual fulfillment to complete a satisfactory and holistic life.  Capitalism seems to work temporarily because it provides random and ad hoc fixes of material proxies for our mental and spiritual needs.  But it fails as the ultimate permanent solution and leaves most of us leading unhappy lives.

NATORZ will offer us another option and another opportunity to do things differently and to live lives differently.  We know that capitalism fails because it relies on a cycle of production and consumption which is unsustainable, finite, material-dependent and zero-sum and leads us to a dire future.  To satisfy our mental and spiritual needs, NATORZ intends to offer us the opposite: a sustainable, infinite, material-independent and non-zero-sum universe of creativity and beauty which will hopefully lead us to a gratifying and happy future.

The human aspect of NATORZ is analogous to the germination process.  It is the stage of looking inward, understanding oneself, and determining and preparing for one’s purpose in life.  NATORZ intends to address the underlying motivation and reward drivers in humans and nudge us toward a path of compatibility that balances individual and collective responsibility as well as private and public good.

The humane aspect of NATORZ is analogous to the growing process.  It is the stage of looking outward, understanding one’s environment and the world beyond oneself, and determining and preparing for how to best fit oneself into one’s immediate community which in turns fits into the rest of the world.  NATORZ intends to address the ingredients for a thriving and successful community and illustrates what is good for the community is good for us individually.

The humanist aspect of NATORZ is analogous to the blossoming process.  It is the stage of maturation and graduation, to work to maximize one’s potential, actively participate in, and contribute to a sustainable, self-sufficient and resilient life cycle for the human race, generation after generation.  NATORZ intends to nurture our latent human potentials through the self-actualization process and reap individual and collective dividends from a new, sustainable, infinite, material-independent and non-zero-sum universe of creativity and beauty.

Let us imagine what if…
